Nura ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Nura Scan mobile application. By using Nura, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days. Scan history stored only on your device is not accessible to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Nura is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@nura.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.

By downloading or using the Nura app you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Nura offers optional premium features accessible through a subscription. Subscription pricing is displayed at the point of purchase. Subscriptions are billed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are subject to the relevant store's subscription terms. Free trial periods, where offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings.
Nura sources product data from Open Food Facts and other publicly available databases. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all product information is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify ingredient and nutritional information against the physical packaging, particularly if you have a serious health condition or allergy.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Nura is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product information is accurate or complete. In no event shall Nura be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on product scores or ingredient information. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
All content, design, and software within the Nura app are the intellectual property of Nura and are protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of Nura after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
