Nura ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Nura mobile application. By using Nura, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days. Scan history stored only on your device is not accessible to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Nura is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@nura.app.

Nura sources product data from Open Food Facts and other publicly available databases, supplemented by user contributions reviewed by our team. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all product information is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify ingredient and nutritional information against the physical packaging, particularly if you have a serious health condition or allergy.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Nura is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that product information is accurate or complete. In no event shall Nura be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on ingredient or nutritional information. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
All content, design, and software within the Nura app are the intellectual property of Nura and are protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
